Holiness by the Son Jesus
"Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate." (Hebrews 13:12)
If we consider the holiness of God the Father as the ‘holiness of chastisement’, the holiness of the Son Jesus is ‘the holiness of love’. Jesus, the Son of God, leaving us an example that we should follow His footsteps. Yes, Jesus led a holy spotless life thereby proving that men can lead a holy life.
Dear friend, when you meet with sinful temptations in your life, when you fear that your footsteps slip at the time of your adversities, our Lord Jesus Christ quickly comes to your aid and upholds you by His righteous right hand that you may not fall, yes His grace is always with you to uphold you at all times. “For we do not have a High priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15).
Before teaching mathematics, the teacher first does a model sum on the board and teaches the students that they may be able to understand more clearly. Following the model that the teacher has taught, the students are able to do the rest of the sums given successfully. Likewise, our Lord Jesus Christ, being in the form of God came into this world in the likeness of men, yes He descended becoming flesh and blood for us. As He set a holy model life for us, no doubt, we who follow His footsteps shall be able to guard our holiness. “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow His footsteps” (1 Peter 2:21).
Jesus, the Son of God is more zealous to lead you in the path of holiness. Your fervour to lead a sacred life is nothing when compared with the greatest zeal that Jesus has in transforming you and make you holy. “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
I have been ministering the Lord for the past thirty two years. It is only by the grace of God I am established and I am able to do the Lord’s ministry with zeal. In my life, I met with many trials, problems and afflictions. But in all these, our Lord graciously upholds me whenever my footsteps slipped, yes, He preserved me blameless and kept me from stumbling. Our Lord who helps me to lead a holy life, shall also enable you to lead a holy life.
Apostle John writes, “My little children, if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father Jesus Christ the righteous” (1 John 2:1).
Every time when satan accuses you, when he finds fault with you, our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for you with our Father in heaven. Showing His nail pierced hands, Jesus pleads with the Father on our behalf that He has redeemed us from the bondage of Satan.

"As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12)
