REVIVAL AND FASTING MOVEMENT
Bro. Sam Jebadurai's visit to the 'Prayer Mountain' to world renowned Church of Dr. David Yongi Cho in Seoul in south Korea led him to start a Fasting Prayer Meeting in India. It is by the grace of the Lord, a very big prayer Hall of 34,000 square feet, which accommodates nearly 10,000 prayer warriors, is built at Tirupathur.. These prayer warriors fast and pray continuously for three days regularly so that there may be a great revival in India.
The Fasting and prayer Meetings are conducted in the grounds adjacent to Christu Kula Ashram which is in Tirupathur and every year people flock to attend the meetings and receive the blessings. The Revival and Fasting Prayer Meetings are conducted regularly during the first week (ie Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in the months of February and September.
The out pouring of the Holy Spirit is great during these Meetings. The Divine presence of the Lord Jesus Christ is made manifest People who come here with great desire and longing to be filled with the Holy Spirit,. are satisfied. People who have a great burden for souls and want to see the millions in India to attain salvatin pour out their hearts and withthe help of the Holy Spirit, pray with great fervour for all the states of India. They are prepared to sacrifice their comfort and little mind the discomfort of travelling from places afar, to come to Tirupathur.
Yes, the praise, worship, soul stirring messages and inspiring songs keep the people warm in spirit that in those three days of heavenly experience neither hunger nor worldly worries trouble them.
